What a few past months it has been. I am sitting here watching the Olympics, Jeremiah is studying for the CPA, and life is good. Things that have been going on since we have stepped into the real world:
1. Jeremiah got a job with BKD Accounting firm, he is a public auditor and he loves it, but it has been a huge transition for me. Apparently I just forgot that accountants are busy during tax season... oops.
So needless to say I am getting used to Jeremiah coming home at around 7-8 and the traveling. I am not going to lie, it stinks and we all know how I deal with change but I am fortunate that my husband has a job, works hard, loves me unconditionally, and provides for us.
2. I got a job teaching third grade at Lost River; another huge transition. I love it,, every day is hard, the children teach me patience and perseverance. I love my third grade kiddos so much, I have countless stories about my first year so far. I wouldn't trade this experience for anything. I love working with my third graders! I am so thankful that I have a job that allows me to grow and a job that I love.
3. We are under contract to get a house :) I am so ecstatic, I love it. You know my initial blog title was the house street, but then I thought what if some weirdo is looking at the blog and pays us a visit :)
You know we were so young getting married or so the world would say, that I never really felt like an adult and most days I still don't but it is really neat to see how the Lord provides a way and the changes that have evolved since we have been married.
4. Lastly, I had a great Valentine's day. I am so grateful for the unconditional love my husband shows me. Being married is my favorite.
God is so amazing! I'm so excited for all the changes in your life. Love you Jessie and hope to see you all soon! :)
